Lambrusco

Lambrusco

Red grape vine variety from Emilia, Lambrusco CECI is dark. Intense and full of bouquet and aromas, it seems to embody the very soul of its land: vivid and straightforward, convivial and rich, everyone likes it and pairs well with everything. The value is of its dense body rich in rejuvenating, vinous and fruity aromas, with a bouquet of violet that envelopes and conquers with discretion. On the palate a surprising crispness stands out that knows how to balance the characteristic mellowness, and often a delicate, rejuvenating but characterful tannin finds its way. Its bursting balance gives it great versatility; if historically the typical pairing was with the rich dishes of the Emilian tradition, the current vision is much wider: from Italian cured meats and medium-aged cheeses to red and white meats, from medium-fat fish to risottos and soups, up to surprise with dry cakes or fruit desserts, and finally as a meditation wine. Although historically it was served in fascinating white ceramic bowls, it will be perfect when served at a temperature of 8-10 degrees in a balloon glass.
