Ortrugo

A native white berry grape variety from Piacenza, it has been vinified in purity since the 1970s. It is a wine that surprises for its versatility due to an excellent balance between hardness and softness.

The yellow straw color with greenish reflections suggests youthfulness, confirmed on the nose by notes of white fruit and herbs. On the palate it is well balanced, fresh but almost mellow, elegant and very fine.

Its personality makes it perfect as an aperitif, but also a perfect accompaniment for vegetable based dishes and second courses of white meat or fish.

It will reach its maximum expression when served around 8 degrees in a tulip glass.
