This wine is considered to be Cantine Ceci's masterpiece. The grapes are harvested in early October and then undergo a cold maceration with skin contact for 5-7 days. Extraordinary red-violet in color with rich, seductive aromas of strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries with deep hints of underbrush. Excellent tannic character balanced by the wine's residual sugar. It's a fantastic pairing for all the superb dishes found in the local cuisine of Parma but this versatile wine is great with other cuisines as well.
