This wine is made using only Ortugo grapes, an indigenous variety grown in Piacenza province. It's the classic white wine of Piacenza: Delicious, balanced, and fresh on the palate. It's versatility is never less than amazing: It works great as fragrant summertime aperitif but can also be served with a piping-hot risotto without losing its elegant personality.
Crystalline straw yellow with hints of light green
On the nose, notes of yellow flowers and robust fruit, ranging from peach to apple to apricot and even dried fruit.
Very fresh in the mouth, warm and dry with delicious savory character.
Great as a fresh aperitif but also perfect with first courses like tagliatelle, tortelli, or risotto. It will also work well with light and delicate first courses like egg-based and vegetable-based flans and frittatas.
