Made using the Martinotti method, this wine is crafted from the best grapes Emilia has to offer. It's a spumante brut created by vinifying red grapes without skin contact and it’s the wine that brings Emilia and Romagna together: It takes its name from the State Road (Strada Statale) 9, otherwise known as the Via Emilia, which unites the two areas. Its intense aromatic character makes it ideal as an aperitif in trendy bars but it's also fantastic for fish dishes and delicate charcuterie.
